UKIP spoof of Cameron weblog

Well UKIP did fail to make it into Iain’s guide to political blogging; not sure if he plans to head off to their party conference and offer them advice on the social media.
So it seems UKIP’s way of breaking into this latest viral form of communication is to present a spoof of David Cameron’s weblog. Well, they do say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery…
I feel rather sorry for the Australian poet whose domain is similar to Cameron’s and has had to publish a notice alerting people to the fact that it isn’t the official site of the UK Conservative leader.
I’m sure it won’t be long before a clever Tory tekkie has devised his own plan to reciprocate, can’t wait to see it …
UPDATE: 4th October, the latest inThe Times

Hi Ellee, a bit of fun but you might like my recent post:
Elee, it does sounds like a war of words!
By the way, when you said ‘Tory tekkie’ I thought it said ‘Tory trekkie’!
Ellee, it looks like you’ve started World War 3. Nice one.
Is it a criminal offence Geoff to use a Southend Library computer to send messages? How ‘Big Brother’
Thanks Geoff – I’ve never tried to resolve his address, he just uses exactly the same posts every time so he is easy to identify – very tiresome.
Chad – I’ve looked up D.South’s IP address used for the comment and it shows Southend Borough Council as the owner – does that fit in with Basildon Boy.
Hi Ellee,
D South is a troll, and regular stalker of mine who usually goes by the name of Basildon Boy – I think he might be BNP.
UKIP itself is perfectly supportive of UKIPHome and happily links to ukiphome:
http://www.ukip.org/ukip_news/gen12.php?t=1&id=2520
And I have interviewed the chairman for the site, and spoken to the leader about it – leading to me being invited along to the leadership count a few weeks ago.
Unfortunately, there is a core group seeking to disrupt UKIP’s growth and the troll here is one of them.
I have listed the following posts for you to view from UKIP home. Please spend some time and check them out. If this site was endorsed by UKIP would you really think we would allow the following to be published – these post open us up for complete ridicule?
Posts from UKIPhome:-
ANTHONY BUTCHER NOW OPENLY ALLOWING FORUM MEMBERS TO CALL FOR MURDER
ANTI-UKIP BUTCHER STILL USING UKIPFORUM.CO.UK
SWIVELLED-EYED LOONS NOW CALLING ME AN MI5 AGENT
TODAY’S MAILBOX HIGHLIGHT
RICHARD SUCHORZEWSKI: TIME TO CALL OFF THE DOGS
FEEDING THE TROLLS
ANOTHER SUCHORZEWSKI BAD LOSER
MATT DAVIES LIES A LITTLE MORE
MORE FROM SIMON MUIR THE CONSPIRACY LOON
Spend some time and read some of Chads earlier posts where he accuses other members of trying to plot his murder and the MI5 allegations – UKIP are keeping Chad at arms length as they have learned it is better to keep him on side rather than attacking UKIP.
Well I am thoroughly confused now. I guess if Chad wants to fly the UKIP flag, then he is entitled to do so, even though his views go against the grain of some members.
However, calling it UKIPhome if it isn\’t backed by the Pary, is certainly misleading. Perhaps UKIP needs to take this on board by launching their own official site. Thank you D South for your elaboration on this.
I looked at the UKIPs web page last night and could not find a link for UKIPhome, that is what I was looking for when researching UKIP bloggers, hence my post. Are there any genuine, independent UKIP bloggers? Does UKIP have plans regarding the social media?
Chad, I did not expect to find a political party included in Iain\’s non-aligned list, and there was no specific mention about UKIPhome in this post/comments on Iain\’s site. Did you persoanly do the spoof Cameron weblog?:

Sorry – you are mistaken Mr Chad Noble’s site is in no way connected with or endorsed by the UK Independence Party. Mr Noble was a member of the Conservative Party before leaving and forming three seperate political parties and then joining UKIP earlier this year. Mr Noble has his own agenda for progressive conservatism and his UKIPhome site is his attempt to try and steer UKIP into a right wing small c conservative position. Obviously he has put the backs up of a whole host of UKIP members. Especially if you examine his site in a bit more detail and read the following posts. Accusing fellow UKIP members of plotting his murder and MI5 spy allegation – the words ferrets in a sack spring to mind and something about picnics and sandwiches! So please do not congratulate the UK Independence Party for it is not their initiative – rather one new member trying to make a name for himself.

Not true! UKIPHome came 34th in the non-aligned blog section and 79th in the overall blog list.
Not bad being only 2 months old at the time:-)
