I think I may have been so over come by the though of you floating about in skin tight silver space wear that my fingers slipped. I would love a long space flight with you Ellee ,I imagine slipping through Saturn’s rings would be a remarkable experience as would re entry.

Raincoaster, Thank you for this link, it was very interesting, and a nice pic of the Prince Sultan too, though a shame about the moustache. Bea will then be the first British royal then if she goes through with it. I think I would look quite smart in one of those spacesuits, you never know, it could well happen.

Actually, Prince Sultan went into space with NASA if I recall, so that would make Bea the second royal in orbit.

Beware the Branson pickle. He rarely delivers on what he says. These trips to the edge of space will be good, but you will only be wightless for a couple of minutes. somtheing you can do this in Russia now.

It is a start to Space Toursim, but not the orbit of the planet you would love to do…

I think you should definitely be invited, Ellee and I agree your readers should start a campaign to this end. I can’t see the royal security people allowing Bea to go. Love the idea of sending Tone and Cherie into permanent orbit! I don’t think I’d be signing up, even if I had the money: I’ve had enough adventure lately!

Ellee, your peerless blog appears to operate on the principle, ‘Ask and it shall be given; don’t ask and it shall be given anyway,’ and for good reason. I think the invite will come to join the flight in the not too distant future. I think we’ll start a petition to get the ball rolling and Jeffrey could run the appeal. He’s good at those. Perhaps ‘Ellee in Space’ could be the catch-cry. I’m actually being serious behind the apparent irony.
