Merry Christmas to you all

It’s time to break off from blogging for a while as I have to catch up with many Christmas preparations. I must also write two academic papers for my PR diploma over the festive break, isn’t it cruel making us work hard like that over the hols!

And please vote for your favourite right wing blog of the year over at Iain Dale’s, there are many excellent choices, and it doesn’t have to be mine, just remember a vote should never be wasted.

WL and Daily Pundit, Many thanks, and yes, I will be back as soon as I can because I will miss blogging so much. I just need to get my head stuck in those books. I do have a day job too and I find blogging such an immense, but very pleasurable and absorbing, distraction.
At the moment I am writing a New Year message for my MEP which the local press has requested, as well as compiling one too for Julian Sturdy, a PPC standing in York Outer. I have lots of good ideas for our campaign in the New Year which I am keen to get started on. We have to be well prepared because we do not know if Gordon Brown will call a snap election sometime next year, the chances are he could.
I am also arranging radio interviews for Mark Newey from Winning Minds, the East Anglian version of Paul McKenna, only ten times better looking, and absolutely super at what he does. I have written a New Year themed press release for him along the lines of ditching 7 Deadly Sins for 7 Heavenly Virtues, the press seem to like this line and I am hoping for good coverage.
