Oddly enough that song sounds just like "My Country 'Tis of Thee".... Maybe you don't have Monty Python re-run over and over again over there these past 30-something years as we have had here.... I recall the Monty Python episode in which they expected the Queen to be tuning in at any minute… and, at every false alarm, everyone stood and “God Save the Queen” was played.

Maybe you don’t have Monty Python re-run over and over again over there these past 30-something years as we have had here….

I just don't see here saying "Oh Hi, Mr Dale, I so agreed with your blog. I agree exactlt with your assessment of the man who will undoubtably be turning up to kiss my hand when Tony's gone off to Tuscany for good." It would be a constitutional scandal, if it were true. That's not to say that Iain Dale's assessment of Gordon is not spot on, but otherwise we must put some of the more- ahem- creative elements of the tale down to artistic license. My point, Ellee. The one thing you can say is that the queen never outs a foot wrong. She knows the unwritten constitution.
