There is going to be a celebration of Christmas on Christmas eve from the Chapel of King's College, Cambridge on BBC2 here and I think it may be broadcast on the world service too.

"For millions of people, Christmas begins when a single choirboy sings the first verse of "Once in Royal David's City" in the candlelit splendour of the Chapel of King's College Cambridge. The well-loved story of the Nativity is told in traditional bible readings and in poetry"

You're not in?! Well you should be.

Cambridge Uni is going to get Daniel Hitchens next year apparently. Why not Oxford as his Dad (and Mum) lives there?! Cambridge must be good then, either that or the young daniel wants a little freedom but not be too far away from rescue. Sounds like a very sensible chap to me.

Did you know the first computer was built in Cambridge? Well, so I understand - one of my lecturers at Uni built it (with others) I believe.
