Hi Liz, and thanks. David will be seeing his consultant at Great Ormond Street on 18 April, which is the next clinic. We are very lucky he can be seen so quickly. Fortunately, he feels much better today. But best we get it sorted before he heads off to uni.

I’m so sorry to hear this Ellee. It sounded as if it was finally gone. One would give anything to make one’s child well and not be in pain.

David is cheerful today and much better. He is now getting stuck into his A’level practice paper and I have cooked him his favourite lamb shanks. We are hoping to hear from the hospital about an appointment very soon.

Very sorry to hear that David’s in pain.
It’s so tough to have one’s child in pain – only thing you want is to bear the pain yourself rather than them having it.
