if both parents decided to file a divorce, the children of course may be affected. It is really unfair for the kids.

Fortunately good help is universal and applies regardless of where you are based. While the legal system may differ from nation to nation, even state to state, effective and responsible parenting after divorce works around the world. So let's focus on spreading the word to alert parents about how they can create child-centered solutions for any family coping with separation or divorce.

To start with one of the problems is, that there seems to be a lack of support for those who think that they want to divorce ie counselling, and it is very expensive. But also the parents won't go and see anyone, not the younger ones today, so they just split up. My son and his partner split up, two very young children, they were having major problems, but they wouldn't listen, and just battled on. They split up a year ago, and the arguments still go on, because of demands, lack of communication, and stubbornness. What can anyone do?

Divorce can be extremely traumatic to families, especially children. Living With Mom, Spending Time With Dad takes us through a myriad of emotions that two children, Stephen and Alex, experience through this tumultuous period. Young Alex especially gives an extremely candid and honest account of the day-to-day trauma, the hostility and at times the many poignant memories that he has. Living with Mom, Spending Time with Dad also addresses the concerns and anguish of being torn between two parents. Throughout the story there is that underlying hope that everything will turn out alright and everyone will be back in their original comfort zone.

I founded the Child-Centered Divorce Network as a valuable resource for parents facing, moving through and transitioning after divorce. My goal is to help them make the best, most conscious decisions on behalf of their children for the short and long-term.

I provide a free weekly newsletter filled with sound advice on breaking the news to the kids, co-parenting successfully, pitfalls to avoid and much more. I also share other resources for parents, my blogs, telephone coaching services and more to support parents in every possible way. Visit www.childcentereddivorce.com to learn more.

Sincerely,
Rosalind Sedacca, CCT

Daniel, I will allow you your plug, and good luck with your book.

Simon, you are right to say that children should come first, particularly in circumstances like this. They really hate to feel ignored and "piggy in the middle".

Sally, in an ideal world, yes, that is the way it should work, and often does too. This post is highlighting the difficulties that often arise.

I think we now live in a world where most people are self absorbed. In a modern society men dont "need" women and visa vesa. Its easy to bail out should things geta little "tough" in a relationship.

Its my view that the children should come first each and everytime. that our actions MUST be measured with "how will effect all my family" not just the partner.

Most arguements about kids are just selfish action IMO..

A Positive Self-Help Book on Divorce recovery

I am not wanting to spam anyone here, just offer my book as help to the millions of couples who divorce each year.
I think most will find some good help here.
Thanks for a chance here. Brian Daniel

My book “Yes, There Is an Upside of Divorce – It Can Be Your Second Chance at Life!” is based on my own personal experiences with divorce - both the negative issues and the many more POSITIVE sides that can exist AFTER divorce too.

I believe it can help many of the millions of us who suffer through a divorce and separation each year in our country.

My book has received a recommendation from Self-Help-Product-Reviews and two full 5-star ratings from my first reviewers there. One of these ratings is from Tracy who runs the website Woman’s Divorce (com).

My book is listed on Amazon - search "upside of divorce" in their Books section.

You can link to my separate website if you want to save some $2 to $5 off Amazon’s costs at Self-Help-Products-and-Services (com). Buy your book copies on my Books page, by pushing Books tab or button on the left side of each page of this website. For orders of 2, 4 and 6 copies or more, we can offer a 10%, 20% and 30% discount respectively, including reduced shipping cost per book too.

Use Pay Pal to enter your desired copies of the book. Then enter your US zip code for your discounted S&H charge and pay your total cost. James at that website will prepare and ship your order to your address the next business day after receipt of your funds through Pay Pal.

I can show you how to handle the most difficult issues of divorce more easily and quickly than I did myself. I can then help you to move on to your real second chance at life, where you will see the many more positive sides and opportunities that are there for you after divorce. The many new things-to-do that I did to make it a happier and more enjoyable rest-of-life for myself, may also help you to do the same.

I believe you will find some good help here in my book. Please pass this along to your family and friends who may need some help too.

Thanks for your consideration here,
Brian Daniel

Again, use Pay Pal my website above or use Amazon if you want! Thanks again!
