If you haven’t done so yet, I really recommend you tune into Tory Radio’s interview with Conservative Chairman Francis Maude.

It was great to hear him mention plans to revitalise their campaigns in the North, with Yorkshire now being a subject close to my heart. Julian will be pleased too, as long as they are not just empty words.

I was also very impressed to hear that his mother was not only passionate about the environment 35 years ago, but wrote a book about the subject, she sounds a very interesting and impassioned woman.

I can’t find the comment facility on Tory Radio any more, I would have said it would be good to hear Francis speak with some passion in his voice, it is a little bit flat.
