Suzy set up a new organisation called Animals Worldwide, a non political group, along with a number of major UK animal welfare charities, including Battersea Dogs and Cats Home and The Dogs Trust, to tackle this distressing problem. More info available on www.animalsworldwide.org

Woffle, Yes, Suzy is the wife of a a Tory MP. She is plugging this on humanitarian grounds, deeply concerned about the ill treatment of animals throughout the world. She is not wearing a political hat with this organisation, but is making her own stand as an individual, working alongside leading charities who would prefer not to have a political bias, which is fair enough.
