My thanks to journalist Becky Sheaves for the double page spread in today’s Daily Express about a book I wrote with psychic Dennis McKenzie. It has nine 5-star reviews on Amazon. There is also a huge banner on the front page of the paper promoting the article.
The paper really sums up Dennis well and refers to some of the cases highlighted in the book, Being the Soham Psychic. It ends with this quote:
“I’m just an ordinary bloke and I hope I’m doing some good with the gift I’ve been given. For me, it’s all about putting myself at the service of others. I truly believe that helping people is, in itself, its own reward.â€
I know this is a very divisive topic, but I would ask you to keep an open mind …. until you meet Dennis.
*Btw, Dennis didn’t work with police on the Soham murders as the intro of this article suggests, but was in contact with Holly’s parents Kevin and Nicola Wells. He also worked on many other murder cases and disappearances which baffled police and these are featured in the book, including terrifying gangland killings in Limerick and BTK strangler Dennis Radar, a serial murderer from Wichita, Kansas who bound, tortured and killed his innocent victims.
It’s so chilling and fascinating and I will say it again, Dennis really is an extraordinary man with amazing paranormal powers, and the book describes how in many ways this is a burden for him.

Ellee how can you class yourself as a journalist when you believe cranks like McKEnzie? I work in the media industry and am also a skeptic.Evidence of psychic ability would be a minimum requirement I would have thought for any article. Write a book about me I ride a pink unicorn to work every day-you believe me on my say so!?

John, I know there are lots of sceptics, and Dennis agrees there are lots of fraudsters in his line of work. At the end of the day, we are all entitled to our own views. I know his work has brought much comfort to bereaved families because I have spoken to them myself. You will have to read the book to see why he would not be interested in taking part in the challenge that you refer to in the link; it’s all covered there!

Dennis should know there are lots of fraudsters-he is one! Ask Dr Chris French or Professor Richard Wiseman im sure they would love to set up a scientific experiment with Dennis. Make a good article at the least.
I know why he wouldn’t be interested in the challenge-like every other psychic in the entire world-he would look a fool because he is a fraud. This is not my “opinion” it is a fact!

Ellie I read the book today-disnt buy it just sat inBorders. Aside from the onelie after another by McKenzie I found no reference to the James Randi challenge you said “was all in there!” admittedly I skimmed every page rather than read his lies in detail. So if you have a page ref Id be glad to check again.

This man completely messed up my mind. Tonight i sat and watched the documentary on the soham murder. On the screen came the face of Dennis Mckenzie!
Well to cut a long story short my mum is a believer in spiritual healing and he often went to her house. On one afternoon i went to see my mum and he was there. He said to me “i need to talk to you in private”. He took me into my mums bedroom and sat in front of me to say that my son Joshua was here. Joshua – my son died at 5 months old in 1997. He was telling me this shit in the year 2000. I had just began to get myself together. I never asked him to talk to me but he invaded my head totally. I hated him for it and even now if i see his face i cry that’s how good he is. Invading and costly!
Somthing that is rarely mentioned is the fact that a lady I know very well, a spritual medium whom lived quite a few miles away, past on details which helped the police in there arrest of the murderer ( whos name is not worthy of a mention) of the two young girls, family members using just there first name also made a visit to the lady, however Police do not like to admit that evidence given by a medium helped. Dennis McKenzie as i understand had very little in producing anything that helped police.
Its such a shame that some people make money from others suffering.
