There’s only one week left to E-Day, and our two Conservative candidates in Luton, Nigel Huddleston standing in Luton South, and Jeremy Brier, for Luton North, discuss their campaigns in the run up to 6th May. Nigel also discusses the Esther-factor, and the response she is getting from voters.

Here is a link to a second video I made showing support for these two great guys from local ethnic communities during my break from telephone canvassing.

Nigel will hopefully win back this seat from Labour following the resignation of disgraced MP Margaret Moran. It was held by Graham Bright for Conservatives for 18 years up until the 1997 Labour landslide and Nigel has to topple Labour’s majority of 5,650 which was halved from 2001. It should be achievable, even though this constituency is fielding 12 candidates, believed to be the most in the country.

Luton North has also been held by Labour’s Kelvin Hopkins since ’97, so it’s time to win it back, and if anyone can do it, Jeremy can, though he has to overturn a tough 9,626 majority. I’m impressed to learn that Jeremy won the World Debating Championships in 2004 and hope his oratory and persuasive skills will lead him to victory next week.

These guys do need extra help. If you can support them in any way, they would be delighted to hear from you.
