Nescafe is confidently taking on the Italians as King of Coffee with its new stylish coffee making machine, the Nescafe Dolce Gusto, and its mouth watering collection of recipes, including the scrummy sounding, waist expanding Chocolate Butterscotch Latte Macchiato – what a mouthful, literally!
I know just the person who might like one of these neat coffee machines for a Christmas present, especially as it has had so many positive reviews. He lives in my house and stores fresh coffee in the fridge, which I much admire, a tip he picked up at university 🙂
I wonder why Nescafe doesn’t consider opening its own coffee shops around the world to challenge Starbucks et al. This could be the next best thing…
Please dont talk to me about Nestle Elle .
I worked at Rowntrees in York when it was a great Quaker run paternalistic firm .
We had every thing on site , doctors , dental dept , school , theatre, pensioners club, library , wonderful pension scheme, canteen, even a village for the workers ( New Earswick ) now under Nestle its all gone .They are the pits as far as Im concerned and I hope their machine goes down the tube.
I for one am addicted to french vanilla and white chocolate, and if they are willing to come with a coffee that combines those 2 incredible flavors, I’ll be a customer for life!! Until then, I have to admit that if I go out for coffee, then it’s usually Starbucks for an iced coffee.
I have had my Dolce Gusto for 3 years and I LOVE it. Best coffee I think is the cafe lungo – superb!
The most important attribute of Dolce Gusto is the variety of ‘fusion’ coffees (Chococino and Latte Macchiatto), prepared using a ‘double’ pod – one of coffee and another of milk.
Sorry, I’ll stick to my espresso!
What a great idea for a present Ellee!
I wish I had thought of something so clever!!
Fiona, you know who I mean 😉
I think it is a good idea too.
