You can have a SuperBlog too

I would like to thank Ian McKendrick for my new professional website, or SuperBlog, as he describes it.

As it is still based on a WordPress theme – originally designed by my social media mentor Geoff Jones – it was quite a painless process for him to transfer the files over. It means that I still have my blog, but the main focus is on my professional skills.

I know that Ian, a popular BusinessHub presenter, is highly regarded for his designs, and he is a perfectionist. I loved this template as soon as I saw it and he quickly set about finding the right images to use prominently on the home page. I’ve already had a call from a client who wants one like it, and there are many other SuperBlog design themes too which Ian can also use. You can learn more about Ian’s SuperBlogs at this link.

I called at his home yesterday to complete the work on my new site and he suddenly jumped up to get a chocolate cake out of the oven which smelt gorgeous. Cooking delicious chocolate cakes and creating beautifully designed SuperBlogs is a great combination for a man!

Thanks Ian. I love it! πŸ™‚

  2. It’s very impressive, Ellee.

  3. Most professional indeed. I didn’t know what I’d hit upon at first.

  4. Very impressive πŸ™‚

  5. A dynamic new blog here, which looks really professional. Congratulations to Ian for creating it.

  6. Pip, it takes a moment or two longer for me to log on too and maybe that is because of the large images on the home page. I was amazed to find I have written almost 1,000 blog posts, and with all the pictures and videos, there is an incredible amount of content stored here.

  7. It looks great but it’s so memory hungry it crashed my PC. Still saving up for an iMac, Ellee πŸ™‚

  8. It was when Ian was designing a new website for my client, Wood Fen Lodge spa and holistic retreat in Cambridgeshire http://woodfenlodge.co.uk/ that I fell in love with this design as he was using this template for them, and later created a new site for me as I felt I needed a revamp. It exceeds all expectations. πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚
Thank you again Ian. I have had very positive feedback, and if you like it too and need a new site, I’m sure Ian will be delighted to do the same for for.

  9. Geoff, thanks, you are now correctly linked. And you know how much I have appreciated all your support over the years with my blog, and I shall always be so grateful to you for setting me up with my first blog five years ago. It has really changed my life and I have had so much fun with it too.
As I really enjoy writing, the content side is the easiest part for me. The main challenge is time to write it up, and time to visit other sites where I made many new contacts and friends.

  10. Many thanks for the compliment and link Ellee – However, its pointing to the wrong place πŸ™

Folks reading need to remember blogging is more about content than style! and you have always created excellent content πŸ™‚

  11. Thanks Casdok, glad you like it.
