Matt Wardman of Wardman Wire has been doing some sleuthing 
on the Schilling’s saga.
He told me:
“I couldn’t make it up. They have a PR problem themselves. Search “schillings” on google and the first hit is Bloggerheads. Hits 4 and 5 are Craigmurray.co.uk. Last week they sponsored a conference about “protect your reputation”, attended by Mr Schilling, no less. There was a workshop about “Monitoring Blogs”.
Tim Ireland comments that Matt scooped him on this story, but adds that he has another Google angle up his sleeve.
When are the lost blogs going to relaunch, btw? I can’t imagine Boris Johnson staying without his for too long, it was like his right arm.

‘Running’ is a bit strong Ellee…. more a sort of stagger I think.
It would seem that the portly east european who asked his legal people to get rid of his problem with regards the Bloggerheads site has backfired somewhat.
The information has now spread to many more sites, hosted in many more nations. Best of luck to Schilling’s if they think they can put the genie back in the bottle and close all of those other sites down as well.
Fidothedog, you are right, I’ve come across Spanish and American links on this today.
I’m wondering whether Schillings is reconsidering its “expertise” in reputation management. Perhaps now they will realise the consequences of an enforcement approach that any PR person understanding the value of reputation and relationships could have told them.
