Political bloggers were asked to contribute a list of top 100 scandals since 1997 - and they immediately set to work.
Besides containing material that has been well documented, there are bound to be insights which have never been in the public domain before.
It even topped the 100 scandals being sought - and this is the reason why.
My “hold the front page” call to Iain was made at 9am on Sunday morning, well after his deadline, and after reading a stormingly good sleaze story in one of the papers which I felt was too good to ignore and had to be included.
“Get it over quickly,” said Iain, sending me over some additional material to add with it and make it even juicier. And so I did.
