My screen test for TV

I’m heading off to London today for a screen test with a TV company, the first time I have ever done anything like this. It is for an exciting new programme which is due to be screened on Channel 4.

All will be revealed in due course, whichever way it goes, but I can tell you it is not Countdown or Deal or No Deal – and I will need my passport if selected.

    Ellee, you’re a star – many thanks!

  2. Peter, I know the North Norfolk coast like the back of my hand and am happy to recommend my favourite places, which are The Lord Nelson in Burnham Market, especially for its homage to Nelson and the relics on display; the Lifeboat in Thornham, the Queen Victoria in Holkham, the White Horse in Brancaster and, of course, the Hoste Arms in Burnham Market.

I’m heading off in that direction tomorrow to see Jose Carreras sing at Holkham Hall.

Have a great time – I always do!

Perhaps a variation of “I’m a celebrity, get me out of here”, but especially for bloggers/other opinion formers instead – go on admit it Ellee, I’m pretty close aren’t I?

Bel beat me to it – I also thought it might be connected with holidays – speaking of which and entirely O/T (for which I apologise) – I and my better half are spending a few days in Burnham Market from 9th Sept. As you are something of a local expert, I’d be grateful if you or your readers could suggest a couple of good restaurants or quality gastro pubs in the local area, or elsewhere in North Norfolk – any recommendations will be gratefully received – many thanks.

  5. Good for you Ellee. Hope it went well.

  6. Wonder what it is …

Holiday programme, perhaps? (But Channel 4 doesn’t do those)

    Perhaps a documentary abroad.

    Really curious now :)

  7. OK, so not Tricia then? ;)
