Another whirlwind day

I am spending today interviewing a very unusual person for a book I plan to ghost write about his extraordinary life. Once it is accepted by a publisher, and my agent thinks that should not be a problem, I shall tell you more, if I am allowed to. It’s all very exciting.

"It must be done by legal means.."

image “It must be done by legal means.” That is the line my husband speaks as an extra when he plays a lawyer in the newly released film, The Other Boleyn Girl, which we have yet to see.

My husband has a very loud and deep voice and I can imagine it resounded around Ely Cathedral.

However, it did not make King Henry V111 quake in his shoes, He demanded: “I don’t care how it is done, just do it,” referring to his divorce from his first wife.

We hope to see the film over Easter, even though it has had mixed reviews. If you going to see it, just listen for those words and remember who is speaking them.

And yes, my husband was late home after filming with Scarlett Johansson, but he got paid extra for doing overtime.
And even though he had a brief speaking role, he was still not allowed to eat with the actors who had lines. There is a clear divide between extras who just mill about in crowd scenes and speaking actors and as Stephen’s line was not scripted, but just added, he did not qualify to share his treacle pudding with the stars.

Any film extra will tell you, they get very well fed.
