The Royal Station Master’s Daughters’ Trilogy
Hello and welcome to my website where you can learn all about The Royal Station Master’s Daughters, a WW1 trilogy set at Wolferton Royal Station and Sandringham, the much loved home to the royal family since 1862.
If you enjoy royal stories, historical fiction and heart warming sagas I hope my books will give you much pleasure. It’s been a joy for me to research and write, delving into a bygone era and bringing to life true historical events and royal stories which I have based around the lives of my characters.
The website is packed with stories about a real royal station master, Harry Saward, his wife, Sarah, and daughters, Jessie, Beatrice and Ada, who inspired me to write these books. It is a story that has never been told before and his descendants were keen for it to be told.
You can follow my blog too where I post stories about royal life, particularly on the Sandringham estate in Norfolk, past and present.
Please do keep in touch and let me know what you think, I would love to hear from you. Here are my contact details

The Royal Station Master’s Daughters
Jessie, Beatrice and Ada were in real life the daughters of Harry Saward, Station Master at Wolferton, close to Sandringham House in Norfolk, the much loved country retreat of the royal family since 1862.
Harry Saward, Royal Station Master Extraordinaire
For forty years Harry ran Wolferton Station where European royal families and leading political figures of the day stopped off on their way to Sandringham. He earned the respect of all he met, always maintaining the highest professional standards with a sense of humour.
The Sandringham Company
The Sandringham Company was originally raised by Sandringham Estate Agent Frank Beck at the request of HM King Edward VII as a Volunteer Company of The Norfolk Regiment in 1906.
Anyone who enjoys historical romantic fiction will love this book and the affection with which it is written. For anyone who knows Sandringham it really does evoke something of the place and life on the estate in the past.
Neil R. Storey, WW1 and Norfolk Historian
I immediately fell in love with this book. It’s a perfect WWI saga with plenty of family drama, nostalgia and emotion and the royal cameos are such a bonus for this readership. Ellee writes with such clear knowledge and intention on such an interesting family with a unique position in society at this time and I can’t wait to read more in the series.
